The Oxnard Gem & Mineral Society grants two Scholarships annually: The Ray Meisenheimer Scholarship and The Lois and Bill Allmen Scholarship to Oxnard College Students. Both Scholarships have the same criteria.
| 1. | Student must have enrolled in a minimum of 6 or more units at the time the award is disbursed. |
| 2. | Have earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. |
| 3. | Pursuing a certificate or degree in Geology; Environmental Studies; Coastal Environmental Studies; Oceanography; Geography or Physical Science. |
| 4. | The recipient of The Ray Meisenheimer Scholarship and The Lois and Bill Allmen Scholarship will be selected from qualified candidates nominated by the Oxnard College Foundation. The Scholarship will be distributed to the awardee according the Foundation’s normal scholarship policies. |
